On January 24th, Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) - Escola Superior de Biotecnologia, received in its Campus in Porto-Portugal, 16 participants from micro and small companies in the agri-food sector from various regions of the country to start a Pilot Training Action on Human Resources Management and Development. The companies represented were agri producers and milk producers.
The main areas addressed were: Introduction to Managing and Developing Human Resources; Recruitment and Selection and Leadership and Human Resources; including presentations, case studies, exercises and launching online tasks. After this face-to-face session, participants had access to the online course where they further developed their knowledge and competencies. The LEAD HandBook on Human Resources was distributed by the participants.
